Ada, Ohio, quarterback Zac Dysert is one of the fastest rising players in the Midwest. With a strong spring that's included picking up quite a few scholarship offers, the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder wants to work hard at getting better.
"I just want to lead the team better and make sure we get better every day," Dysert said. "My ability to read the defense and make smart decisions are what I do best."
With scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan, Troy and Western Michigan, Dysert things several BCS programs are close to offering.
I think Michigan State and Pittsburgh are very interested in me, he said. "I've been hearing a lot from Cincinnati and Ball State. Pittsburgh was at my school. Akron was there the other day."
"I like Ball State, Cincinnati and Toledo a lot. But I also would be excited if Michigan State or somebody else like that offered me. I got an offer from Ohio just recently. They texted me and told me they were offering a scholarship."
Dysert doesn't plan on making a decision soon.
He threw for 3,832 yards and 31 touchdowns as a junior.
