Duvernay wants to play early

Donovan Duvernay from Sachse (Texas) is in his last week of school before the summer. There are finals on Thursday and Friday and then he's done. Duvernay has been thinking about some trips that he would like to make this summer. All are schools that he can travel to and from in a day.
"It's our last week of school," Duvernay said. "It's finals week this week. My family and I have been talking a lot about visits this summer, but nothing is set up yet.

"Some schools that I might want to go visit this summer are Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and LSU. They are all schools that I can make on day trips."
The three-star cornerback says that what makes him special in the secondary is his quickness and speed. What Duvernay lacks in size - he's 5-foot-9 and 172-pounds - he makes up in heart and desire for the game. He plays a lot bigger than his physical size.
"I would say my quickness and my speed," Duvernay said. "I can play both man to man and zone, but I really love man to man. I like getting locked up on that island and taking a man."
Sachse will be hard at work all summer and Duvernay will be out there leading his team. Duvernay will be leading the 7-on-7 team this summer during passing leagues and he will be leading his team during summer conditioning and workouts.
"We have 7-on-7 and summer workouts," Duvernay said. "I am working hard on getting faster and stronger. I will be working with a personal trainer this summer."
"I have eight offers right now. I am looking for a good coaching staff, a staff that I can respect, play for and I want to play early. I don't want to sit on the bench."
