Duvernay names top 10, schedules official visits

Sachse (Texas) Rivals100 wide receiver Devin Duvernay has released his top 10 and he also has five official visits planned - three during the season and two after the season.

THE LATEST: Duvernay has a top 10 of Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, TCU, and Texas. He also has also scheduled visits to LSU (Sept. 18) and Ohio State (Sept. 26) to go along with his Alabama official, which he will take the weekend of October 9. In addition to his three in-season official visits he plans to take official visits to Oklahoma and Baylor after the season but he does not have dates scheduled at this time. He plans to take unofficial visits to Baylor and Oklahoma during the season and he also mentioned wanting to take unofficial visits to Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.

RIVALS' REACTION: Duvernay planned to narrow his list to 10 before the season and that is exactly what he did. He has also mentioned plans to take his time with the recruiting process and it looks like Baylor and Oklahoma will have the final two official visits. Baylor has been a hot pick for Duvernay due to the style of play, the relationship he has with the coaches, and a number of other factors and the Bears remain a strong contender. Also look for the opportunity to play with his brother, Donovan, who is a standout defensive back, and track to play an important role in his ultimate decision.
