Duvernay keeps extensive list

Devin Duvernay basically has all the offers he already wants and there is still a significant list of programs he is keeping a close eye on.
The 2016 four-star wide receiver from Sachse, Texas, said last week at the Elite 50 Experience in Orlando that he doesn't have a group of frontrunners yet but there are a select number of schools that he's doing a little more research on.

It's premature to claim Duvernay has a top list but he did give some insight on which programs he's looking at more than many others.
"Not really any schools are standing out right now but I've looked at some schools harder than others," Duvernay said. "It's still pretty wide open.
"Texas, TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech, Oregon, Oklahoma, Clemson, Auburn. It's pretty much wide open."
The Longhorns were the first team mentioned by Duvernay, one of the top receivers at the Elite 50 event, and the four-star said he's been impressed with what coach Charlie Strong has done in Austin so far.
"I feel good about his program," Duvernay said. "I think it's headed in the right direction and there is a great future there."
The next step for Duvernay, who's rated as the No. 34 wide receiver and the No. 169 prospect in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, is to start trimming down his extensive list. A flexible timetable of this summer is what Duvernay is looking at so he's in no rush at all.
"I'm just trying to narrow it down around the summer and make my decision by next year probably," Duvernay said.
In his junior season, Duvernay finished with 54 receptions for 895 yards and eight touchdowns.
