Duvernay checks out Alabama

Several top prospects attended Alabama's 35-17 win over Wisconsin in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Among those in attendance was Sachse (Texas) Rivals100 wide receiver Devin Duvernay.
It was not a true home game in Bryant-Denny, but Duvernay was able to get a taste of what is to come in the near future.

"It was real good. I had a good time," Duvernay said. "Being able to feel the atmosphere it definitely made me look forward to the official."
In addition to getting a feel for the atmosphere, Duvernay also liked what he saw on the field.
"I like the balance of it, the run-pass I feel like they're balanced," Duvernay said. "I feel like I could see myself in their offense."
He also likes how Alabama plans to use him in its balanced offensive attack.
"Anytime I talk to coach Napier, he says he wants a burner like me to catch deep balls and to run jet sweeps, and to be that all-around guy who can run the ball and catch the ball as a receiver," Duvernay said.
He has scheduled his official visit to Alabama for October 9. He plans to visit LSU (Sept. 18) and Ohio State (Sept. 25). He plans to take official visits to Baylor and Oklahoma after the season and unofficial visits during the season. The unofficial visits to Baylor and Oklahoma will probably not take place until after his official visit to Alabama.
Oklahoma State is another possibility for an unofficial visit.
