Dutch to visit Terps

Several schools have targeted wide receiver/cornerback Doug Dutch as the top athlete on their recruiting board. He recently decided that he would take a trip to another ACC school.
"I'm going to visit Maryland," said Dutch. "But I don't think that's going to be an official visit. Since I'm right here near the school I could just take an unofficial and save my last official trip for somewhere I wouldn't normally be able to go."

Dutch already has official trips set up to Virginia (Nov. 28), Miami (Dec. 5), Michigan (Dec. 12) and Florida (Jan. 8). He doesn't know where he will take his fifth official.
Thus far in his senior season Dutch has caught 16 passes for 200 yards and three scores, and on defense he has 25 tackles and five interceptions.
"I'm probably not going to make a decision until after I take all my official visits," he said. "The schools I plan on visiting are some of the highest schools on my list, so they're going to be really important trips. I'm not in a hurry."
The 6-foot-0, 200-pound athlete from Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga is rated the No. 100 player in the nation by Rivals100.com.
