Durante awaiting more offers

Charlotte (N.C.) Vance safety Dechane Durante continues to sit on one offer. The 6-foot-3, 191-pounder is looking to pick up more scholarships in the near future as camps are coming soon.
"I haven't gotten any new offers, I still have one from Illinois," he said. "I am talking to Wake Forest, Clemson and a few smaller schools.

"I am starting to make plans for camps. I'm probably going to Clemson in early June and I might go to North Carolina's one-day camp. Those are the only two I am scheduled to go to right now."
Durante maintains no favorites at this time as he continues to look for more offers. However, he is very interested in his sole scholarship from the Illini.
"I went up there and I like the school and coaches," he said. "I haven't talked to my recruiter lately though. I do plan to go back when the season starts to see how I like it.
"Illinois is my only offer and that is the school I'm looking at now."
Even though the Illinois have the advantage with an offer on the table. Durante is looking around and discussed what he wants in a college.
"I don't want to go anywhere I'm going to sit on the bench for a number of years," he said. "Academic wise I want a place I fit and am comfortable. I want to study physical therapy. I don't want to go way out in the country either."
