Durant sees offers rise

Offensive guard Chris Durant out of Vienna (Va.) Oakton is seeing his offer rise. The 6-foot-4, 268-pounder is up to four scholarships now including his first Division I offer coming earlier this week.
"I had the offer from Old Dominion and I've gotten James Madison, Yale and Ohio," he said. "I got James Madison about a month ago. I got Yale about two or three weeks ago and then Ohio came yesterday."
Durant is excited about the offers.
"I was excited about all of them, but mostly the Ohio one since that's my first Division I offer," he said. "I think I'm going to make a visit up there sometime soon to see how I like it."
Durant has taken visits to James Madison, Yale and Cornell already.
Visits are on hold for a bit as Durant is starting to schedule summer camps.
"I know I'll be going to Duke's camp and Boston College's camp for sure," he said. "I might possibly go to Penn State's camp as well."
Durant earned honorable mention all-district last season.
