Duprey is getting his name out there

Standardsville (Va.) William Monroe tight end Zach Duprey took his first camp this past weekend. The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder plans to hit more camps in the coming weeks across the region.
"I thought I did pretty well at Virginia Tech, I was pleased with my one-on-ones," he said. "I felt I did really well at that.

"My recruiting coach, Coach Gray asked for more film and he said to keep in contact into my senior season."
Duprey is a relative new name in recruiting as he is getting a late start.
"Honestly, I haven't gotten my name out this year and I'm trying to start getting a name for myself kind of quick," he said. "Virginia Tech is the only camp I went to, but my whole summer is packed. I'm going to James Madison, Virginia, Old Dominion, Elon, Liberty and I'm trying to fit in Cornell, Holy Cross and Lehigh."
Duprey broke out as a junior this past season earning first team all-district, second team all-region and honorable mention all-state honors while posting seven touchdowns.
"I think for me, my biggest problem is my height and size," he said. "I try to bring attitude to not let it bring me down, I'm not going to quit."
