Dupree keeping it even

Dallas Skyline linebacker Alfred Dupree is looking at plenty of options.
Dupree says he's received scholarship offers from several schools including Colorado, Colorado State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M among others.

"I think I'm up to 21 or 22 offers now," Dupree said. "I don't think I even have a top five or anything yet. I'm staying open right now."
Dupree, the 6-foot-2, 209-pounder, says that at the end of June, he believes he'll be ready to start naming favorites. Right now, with the spring over, he plans to visit several schools including Baylor, LSU, North Texas, and SMU for camps and unofficial visits.
He says there are several schools who are showing more attention than others.
"I'd say probably Minnesota, Texas Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State," Dupree said. "They just text me all the time and send me tons of letters, handwritten ones, and just always seeing how I'm doing."
Though a commitment appears to be a ways off in the future, Dupree and two of his other teammates Keanon Cooper and Spencer Reeves have all talked about possibly playing together. Nothing is for sure at this point if the three will stick together.
"If we did decide to play together, it would be great," he said. "But, I don't think it matters to us at this point."
