Dunning planning unofficials

Whitehouse (Texas) 2015 Rivals250 to Watch standout Justin Dunning has already seen his recruiting process get off to a quick start. Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech have each extended early offers and he has already had a chance to visit many of the campuses and visit with several of the coaches.
Throughout the camp season he worked with coaches from Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, TCU, Houston, Texas Tech, and Alabama, and as the season begins there are a few programs standout when it comes to showing him attention.

"Texas Tech, they're probably after me the hardest," Dunning said. "Along with them, A&M, Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma they've all been coming pretty hard."
As for leaders, Dunning is not ready to name a favorite.
"I wouldn't say anyone is standing out because there are a bunch of people hitting me up here and there," Dunning said. "I'm really taking it all in."
This fall he does plan to attend a few games, but is still trying to figure out his schedule.
"A bunch of people have invited me," Dunning said. "I still have to talk to my mom but I really don't know which ones I'm going to go to so far."
He does have a few plans in the works though. Texas A&M's match-up with Alabama is on his list. He may attend Texas Tech's face-off with TCU along with teammate Patrick Mahomes. A trip to the Red River Rivalry is also in the works.
In the past, Dunning has said he plans to hold off on a commitment. He mentioned a spring decision as a possibility. Has anything changed with his timetable?
"It sounds cool but I don't want to commit anywhere early if I'm not sure where I want to go," Dunning said. "I definitely want to wait though."
For now, Dunning is focused on the 2013 season. In Week 0, he played mostly defense but also worked some at receiver, and Whitehouse beat Hallsville 58-28.
"We had a real tough two-a-days," Dunning said. "There was a lot of conditioning to get us in shape and stuff. I feel like we're in the best shape we've ever been and football is going great so far. We got a real good win. We shut them down and put up a lot of yards and touchdowns on them. It was just a great first game. Everything is going great so far."
Next up is a Thursday night match-up with Chapel Hill at Rose Stadium in Tyler, Texas.
