Size and Speed: Dunn is 5-foot-9 and 183 pounds. He has been timed at 4.51 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Statisitics: Dunn had 146 tackles as a junior to go along with five fumble recoveries and 10 pass break-ups.
Honors: Following the 2002 season, Dunn was named to the All-Oklahoma team by Sooners Illustrated. He was also named second-team all-state.
Favorite Schools: Dunn lists Arizona State, Stanford, Colorado, TCU, Oklahoma State and Houston as his top six schools. SMU, Nebraska, and Kansas State are also sending mail.
Skinny: Dunn enters his final season as an early pre-season all-state selection by Sooners Illustrated but knows he’ll have to play well to finish the year with those honors.
“I’ll have to have a good year on the field,” Dunn said of the postseason honor possibility. “If I just continue to work hard things will come.”
Dunn knows what he is looking for in a college.
“I want to look at the education I can get at the school. I also will look at the tradition the school has and what the coaching staff is like.”
Dunn plays safety but at times becomes another linebacker out on the field.
“I play safety with a linebacker mentality,” he said. “I’m always aware of where the ball is. I think that type of style will help me make the transition to a higher level.”
Dunn hopes to show off his skills a little this summer.
“I’m going to go to the Oklahoma State and the Colorado camps this summer. We’ll see if any others fit into the plans as the summertime gets a little closer.”
