Dunker recaps his UF visit

Boynton Beach (Fla.) offensive tackle Jessamen Dunker has had a very busy week when it comes to recruiting. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound prospect landed seven offers in the past seven days and capped off the week by taking in a Junior Day visit at the University of Florida.
"It was a great time," Dunker said. "I had a great time. They put a lot of time in talking with me individually. They told me what they need and what they want. They explained a lot about the college. They showed me on a tour. They just showed me a good time."

Dunker, who now holds offers from Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, South Carolina, South Florida, and Central Florida, got a lot of one-on-one attention from his primary recruiter.
"I talked a lot with Coach (Aubrey) Hill," Dunker said. "He is the one that showed me around. He introduced me to Coach (Will) Muschamp and everybody."
He also spoke at length with Will Muschamp, who explained the need for offensive tackles in Gainesville.
"They explained to me that they need five offensive tackles for next year," Dunker said. "They also talked about how they would like me to graduate early. (Coach Muschamp) is the one that explained to me that they need five offensive tackles."
"He talked about his history, the history of the school, the history of the coaches and their ties to the NFL and everything," Dunker added. "He also talked about the academics and the history of the school itself."
While he rated the visit as exceptional, Dunker said that committing did not cross his mind.
"It is still early," Dunker said. "I want to weigh all my options. Committing right now is not something I am thinking about."
Next weekend, Dunker plans to visit the University of Miami.
