Dunker makes his decision

Boynton Beach (Fla.) offensive tackle Jessamen Dunker wrapped up his recruitment almost as quickly as it all began. After bursting onto the scene and collecting more than 20 offers, Dunker has made an early decision.
"It's useless to keep the people waiting when I already know which school feels the most like home," Dunker said via text. "IMMA BE A GATOR!"

Once reached by phone, Dunker talked about informing the Gator staff of his decision.
"I talked to Coach (Aubrey) Hill first and as soon as I told him he started jumping up and down," Dunker said. "I guess all of the coaching staff was there together, so they heard that I committed and they just started yelling and stuff."
"Coach (Will) Muschamp told me I made his year," Dunker added. "He was really excited about it."
The 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle shared a few thoughts on why Gainesville will be his college home.
"Florida feels just like home," Dunker said. "When I visited the other schools, I didn't get the same feeling I had at Florida. It is just the atmosphere of Florida. My relationship with Coach Muschamp and the other coaches, there wasn't anything else like that."
"It is easy for my parents to come up to see me play," Dunker added. "My dad met the Florida coaches and took a tour there and loved it. He thought that was a good fit for me. Florida, for me, it just feels great to be there."
Dunker added that the depth chart at offensive tackle was also an appealing part of the package that sold him on the Orange and Blue.
"It was a big part of my decision," Dunker said. "Obviously a freshman getting some playing time sounds great to me. They really need offensive tackles. So I am going to work hard and do what I need to do and hopefully I will have a chance to start."
With just over 10 months before he is set to sign, Dunker is very confident that he will be running onto the field at the Swamp as part of Will Muschamp's team.
"I am confident I am going to end up there," Dunker said. "I may take some trips over the summer but my mind is made up."
