Duncanville WR waiting on more offers

With the Spring Game approaching for Duncanville High School in Texas, wide receiver Chayse Joubert is dealing with some heavy traffic from college coaches. He currently holds one offer from the University of Miami but he has seen a number of different schools come through expressing interest.
"A lot of colleges are coming by here and recruiting me and stuff," Joubert said. "I'm supposed to get some tape on Monday to get out to schools so hopefully some more offers will come after that."

Among the numerous programs that have made stops, Joubert has seen Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Texas and Colorado State.
"It's really exciting just knowing that I might have the opportunity to play at some of these schools," he said. "I'm just enjoying it."
Joubert has also been receiving some phone calls as well. SMU, Utah, Northwestern State and Louisiana Tech are a few of the schools that have kept his phone lines busy since the Spring evaluation period has kicked off.
Despite all of the attention, Joubert is not ready to name any favorites.
"right now I don't' really have any top picks," he said. "I just really want a school right now so I just want to weight out all my options."
The 6-foot-1 wide receiver does have an idea about the factors he will be looking at in a program.
"I want to go to a school that spreads the ball out," he said. "I want to get to a school that gets me the opportunity to come and play as a freshman. As far as living arrangements, I want the atmosphere to be as close to home as possible and a good environment. If football doesn't come through, I want to be able to enjoy it."
Joubert, who ran a 21.38 in the 200 meters this Spring is hoping to hit camps at Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Kansas, along with others this summer.
