Duncan taking it all in

Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove 2016 Rivals250 wide receiver Jordan Duncan continues to see his offer list grow. He has grabbed recent offers from Arkansas and Purdue in addition to scholarships from Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Southern Miss, and Tennessee.
Attention has also come from Notre Dame, UCLA, Kentucky, LSU, and Missouri, and he is taking it all in right now.

Before the season he did list Ole Miss and North Carolina at the top, but he is not ready to name leaders right now.
"I don't want to say I have any leaders right now, and really I'm just thinking about the football season," Duncan said. "I'm just focused on football. I'm keeping things neutral right now as far as everything. I'll keep all my options open."
While he is keeping his options open, he is definitely proud of how Mississippi State and Ole Miss have surged to the top of the college football world in 2014.
"It's just really unbelievable right now," Duncan said. "I wasn't expecting it. I knew Ole Miss was going to be a solid team this year but to be No. 3 in the country. Then you have State taking No. 1. So I'm proud. Even if I wasn't to go to either school I'm just proud of the state and how it's just put Mississippi on the map. Everybody is looking and saying they can't believe. It's a great thing to be a part of. I'm glad I'm from Mississippi. It's a great state. That's one thing I like and I like repping Mississippi. Those two are doing that for us and it's just great to hear everyone interacting down here. It's just a great thing. I like how everything is going for those schools."
He has not taken many unofficial visits in 2014, but he was in Oxford for Ole Miss' win over Alabama.
"It was a great experience," Duncan said. "It's just the atmosphere of it. The nice thing is I like how they coach and care about their players and interact with them. The fans. It's just a great atmosphere. I brought my mom that day too. She was really into it about how they had things going for us and just watching that game it was just exciting. Then they won, I've just never been around something like that before. Thousands of people just running on the field, it was exciting. I had a great time at Ole Miss."
Duncan also plans to attend the Egg Bowl between Ole Miss and Mississippi State, and he also has talked with Arkansas and LSU about taking unofficial visits.
He does not plan to make a decision anytime soon, and at this time he and his teammates are busy on the football field.
"I'm doing great. We're undefeated right now. We're 7-0. Yes sir, it's going real well right now," Duncan said. "I feel like I'm doing well for my team. I'm leading the team in catches and yards and I have a total of eight touchdowns. Right now I'm over 600 with 33 catches. Everything is going well."
Duncan and Oak Grove face Brandon on Friday night. Duncan is currently ranked No. 211 in the 2016 Rivals250, No. 36 among the nation's 2016 wide receivers, and No. 5 in the Rivals.com Mississippi Initial Top 20 for 2016.
