Duke takes a Texan

Sitting in class at school won't stop breaking news from getting out – especially when it comes to a commitment. Austin (Texas) Westlake two-star tight end William Ball had been leaning toward Duke for the last month, but now he's more than leaning.
"Yes sir, I committed to Duke," Ball said via text message while at school on Wednesday. "I'm pumped to be a Blue Devil."

Ball, who is 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, plays for one of the most storied programs in Central Texas. Year in and year out, Westlake plays some of the most competitive ball around and Ball will be a big part of the Chaps' success this season.
Ball was recruited by assistant coach Scott Brown.
"He's real nice, real straight forward," Ball told Devils Illustrated 10 days ago. "I'm in contact with him quite a bit. He lets me call him whenever if I have any type of question."
The only question now left to answer – what will he look like in a Blue Devil uniform.
