Duke offers Delaware quarterback
Wilmington (Del.) Salesianum quarterback Gene Delle Donne is one of the top quarterbacks in the Atlantic East Region and he’s picked up an offer from an up-and-coming ACC team.
“Gene received an offer today from Duke,” his father, Ernie Delle Donne, said.

Delle Donne, who is 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, is also getting heavy attention from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Boston College, Maryland, Michigan, Pittsburgh and Virginia.
Delle Donne threw for 1,759 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior, completing 66 percent of his passes. He earned all-Catholic and all-state honors along with being named an Elite 11 Quarterback camp ball boy before his junior season.
