Williams had always dreamed of being a Blue Devil.
"He really was interested in Duke for a long time," said Alfred Mohammed, Williams’ coach at Hot Springs High. "He told me that ever since he was a young kid, since the fourth or fifth grade, he has wanted to go to Duke."
White is a solid all-around player and finished second in Virginia in the 55-meter hurdles.
"To me, they’re getting a guy who can start for them right away," Lakeland head coach Vincent Pugh said. "He’s going to be a great player.
