Duke lands Florida LB

Tyree Glover is a linebacker prospect from Crescent City (Fla.) High School. Glover, 6-3 and 228 pounds, is a sleeper prospect from the Sunshine State that has recently made his decision.
"I committed to Duke two days ago," Glover said. "First of all the education is one of a kind. There are lots of good schools out there but Duke offers the best of both worlds. The ACC is also one of the best conferences in college football and I have family in North Carolina.

"This decision certainly takes pressure off of you. To end recruiting and know where you are going is just a good feeling."
The Blue Devils were the first to offer Glover. There are a bunch of other schools after Glover but he's made up his mind to play for David Cutcliffe and his Duke staff.
"They actually offered me in the spring. I love coach (Mike) McIntyre. I recently talked with coach (Jim) Collins. Coach Cutcliffe has a great resume. Duke is recruiting very well. They have a great recruiting class and I want to be a part of that."
Glover plays outside linebacker and now has 58 tackles, seven forced fumbles and one interception in three games this season. Crescent City is 1-2 on the season.
"I am the type of linebacker that plays sideline to sideline. I think I rely too much on my athletic ability and need to start working on being better downhill. I also need to shed blockers better."
Glover bench presses 360 pounds and squat 450.
