Duke, GTech, Cuse on top for FB

Fullback Brandon King out of Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks West has solidified his top three schools. That's good news for those three as the 6-foot-2, 240-pounder is preparing to make a decision before the start of the season.
"I'm probably going to make a decision around August," he said. "I just want to get it out of the way and not worry about it during the season. I don't want to deal with coaches calling and stuff."

Who are the teams at the top of the fullback's list and why?
"I'd say my top three are Duke, Georgia Tech and Syracuse, other than them, it's just a bunch of options for me," he said. "I like the coaches when I visited Duke and I really like the campus and obviously the school and academics there. I really like the coaching staff at Syracuse too and I like how they'll use me in the offense. They've talked about using me in motion and involving me in the offense and going out for pass patterns and stuff. From talking to the coaches at Georgia Tech, I like what I hear from them and I like how they'll also use me as an H-back. I'm actually going down there this summer."
King plans on taking the visit to Georgia Tech on July 11th. The fullback doesn't have plans to attend any summer camps right now.
Currently, King holds offers from five schools -- Duke, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.
With the evaluation period wrapped up, what have been King's impressions of the month?
"It's going good, all the people I've talked to like what they have seen," he said. "I really like talking to the coaches from Syracuse, Duke, Georgia Tech and the guy from Minnesota. I really like their description of campus and their plans for me and what I'll be doing."
Besides playing AAU basketball, King is preparing for next year.
"I'm working on my blocking to trying to get lower on my blocks," he said. "I'm also working on getting faster and filling the blocking lanes quicker."
King rushed for 700 yards last year. The fullback also sports a very impressive 3.5 GPA.
