Ducks land diamond in the rough

Tight end Devlin Bayne (6-6, 215, 4.67) from Carlin, Nev., decided to play his football at Oregon. Bayne is the type of player that the Ducks have been feasting on over the years. The Ducks get player who is very athletic and has a high ceiling.
Bayne is a three sport athlete at Carlin. Besides football, he plays center on the basketball team and is a pitcher, first-baseman and outfielder for the baseball team.

On the gridiron, Bayne caught 23 passes for somewhere between 500 and 600 yards while having ten touchdown passes.
Bayne has a great frame and has been told by college coaches that he will be able to carry 260 pounds without losing a step.
Bayne selected Oregon over other offers from Fresno State (Dec. 12th) and Nevada (Dec. 19th).
Ducks land a diamond in the rough in Bayne and polishing diamonds is a Duck speciality.
