Dublanko takes in UCLA, USC

Joel Dublanko double-dipped in Los Angeles last week as the 2016 linebacker got a chance to see games at UCLA and USC and meet with both coaching staffs.
On Friday night, the Aberdeen, Wash., standout saw UCLA defeat Washington and he said the environment at the Rose Bowl definitely stood out.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound recruit also liked UCLA linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich and raved about coach Jim Mora.
"The environment was a lot different than what I've been used to at (Washington) and Oregon State," Dublanko said. "I liked it. It seemed real, kind of like a high school game and I liked that. It was a lot of fun for me.
"They haven't gone over my film yet so they're going to look at it and we're going to call them after the season. I really liked the linebackers coach and I think coach Mora is awesome."
USC was excellent, too. Dublanko got a chance to check out the Trojans upset Stanford, he witnessed all the fans storming the field at the Coliseum and it definitely left an impression.
Dublanko said his relationship with USC linebackers coach Mike Ekeler is the best one going so far in his recruitment and the Trojans stand out.
"That was an amazing game," Dublanko said. "I had so much fun at USC.
"The linebacker coach and I have developed a really good relationship. He's probably my favorite linebacker coach so far. We get along really well and I like the way he teaches."
So far, the 2016 prospect has been offered by Mississippi State, Akron and Montana.
