DT Wants To Keep Things Open

Just a week after stating that Maryland was on top of his list, Conrad Bolston has now said that he's wide open. Not only does he have no single leader, he's completely wide open.
"I'm opening the whole recruiting process back up," said Bolston. "It's still really early in the process and I want to make sure I don't close the door on any team that would be a good fit."

Bolston is one of the most highly-recruited big guys on the east coast. He stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 265 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds and bench presses 360 pounds. His best attributes are his sheer strength and explosion when the ball is snapped. So which schools are near the front of Bolston's mind?
"I'm really trying to keep my mind totally wide open right now. I've said that Maryland leads and I've said that this school or that school trails. Right now I just want to be able to say I'm wide open with no leaders."
Last year at Washington (D.C.) St.John's College Prep, Bolston racked up 13 sacks and was named second team All-Metro. This year he already has two sacks and is facing two men on almost every play.
"I've got offers to a lot of schools, including places like Virginia, North Carolina, NC State, Maryland, Boston College, Penn State and Purdue. Those are the main schools showing interest and that I'm interested in. I'll start setting up my official visits soon, but not until after my season is over."
