DT to pick between MAC schools

Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne two-star defensive tackle Martin Channels has quite a few teams chasing after him, but after his first official visit to Miami of Ohio this weekend, he's now saying his list has been narrowed to two.
"It's down to Miami and Akron," Channels, who is 6-foot-1 and 300 pounds, said. "I don't have a leader from those two. I visit Akron next weekend, and then I'll have a decision after I get back from there."

Channels, who also has offers from Indiana, Toledo and Kent State, said he enjoyed his time on the visit to Miami.
"They talked to me about the academics the most," Channels said. "I liked that. I got to learn a lot about the university and things like that. The coaches were telling me about the coaches and what's good about the school.
"They also showed me around, and I liked what I saw."
Channels said a decision should come after he gets back from Akron next weekend.
"I'm looking forward to that trip, too," he said.
