DT Tillman awaiting more interest

Washington (D.C.) Dunbar defensive tackle Charles Tillman is sitting on one scholarship. The 6-foot-2, 334-pounder is garnering interest from a number of other colleges who are keeping close tabs on him this season.
"I've got the same schools recruiting me," he said. "Those are Louisville, New Mexico, East Carolina, Pittsburgh and Maryland.

"East Carolina is still the only offer so far. Most of the other schools are waiting until after the season and after I take the SAT on November 6th."
Tillman hasn't taken any visits to date this season.
"I took visits over the summer, but I'm going to make plans to take official visits after the season is up."
A few schools do stick out to the two-star prospect at this time.
"Right now I'm liking Louisville, East Carolina and Pittsburgh," he said. "I like East Carolina's defensive scheme and their defensive linemen. They play an aggressive front. Pittsburgh is an aggressive defensive team too. I just like Louisville as well."
Tillman has helped Dunbar to a 6-1 season so far while posting approximately 25 tackles and two sacks.
"The season is going well," he said. "I'm playing pretty well. I've improved a lot on both sides of the ball. On defense, I've been firing off the ball and am crowding the line more. On both sides, I'm staying low and using my hands more too."
