DT Stokes is wide open

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas defensive tackle Matt Stokes continues to hold two scholarships. What's the latest for the 6-foot-3, 245-pound lineman?
"I still have two offers from Arkansas and Liberty," he said. "I haven't really visited anywhere. I'm just hanging out doing workouts and getting ready for the season.

"I don't think I'm going to visit anywhere this summer."
Even without any visits coming up at the moment, Stokes is hearing from other schools.
"I'm getting general letters from Rutgers, Oregon, UCLA, Miami (Ohio), Toledo, East Carolina and FIU."
Does the lineman like anyone?
"I'm still kind of open to anything," he stated. "I want to play at the next level and go to college for free. It can be Division I or I-AA, that doesn't matter to me. I want to play and I'm content going to whoever really wants me. I want to contribute to the team."
Arkansas continues to be Stokes biggest offer. What does he think about them?
"I get a lot of letters from them still. They are very interested," he said. "I want to go on a visit there and see the campus and what it's like. I'm anxious to see how they do this year and I feel they can become a good team in the SEC. I plan to visit for an official."
Stokes posted 20 tackles and five sacks as a junior last season.
