DT Stockton up to five offers

Offers are continuing to come in for 6-foot-1, 290-pound defensive tackle Tyler Stockton. The Princeton (N.J.) Hun School prospect is up to five scholarships after picking up a major offer from the Big Ten this weekend.
"I went down to Penn State for junior day and I liked it a lot," he said. "I toured the facilities sat down with Coach Johnson and met Joe Paterno. It was my first time meeting him and he just asked me how my visit was.

"It was an honor to hang out with Coach Johnson as well. He pulled me aside and told me I'm the first interior lineman they had offered which was something special to me. They compared me to Anthony Adams who is with the Bears now."
Did anything else stand out about Penn State?
"I liked the facilities a lot," he said. "I sat down with the academic advisor and they laid it all out for me on what I needed to achieve a degree. I saw the stadium from the top, 110,000 it blew me away. I also met a lot of other players and it was a good experience."
Penn State isn't the only offer to come in recently for Stockton.
"Georgia Tech offered me in the past couple weeks," he said. "I'm just happy everything is coming together. I'm keeping my options open. I may visit Michigan State, West Virginia and Tennessee this spring.
"I think Michigan State and Tennessee are close to offering. Michigan State said they just want to see me in person, while Coach Slade from Tennessee saw a bit of my film and they want a full highlight tape."
