DT Simmons set to visit Iowa

McKeesport, Pennsylvania defensive linemen Delvon Simmons and Branden Jackson are set to take an official visit to Iowa over the weekend.
The Hawkeyes have a big home game that also figures to be a huge recruiting event, as the game will garner a lot of publicity and there should be an incredible atmosphere at the game.

Simmons, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive tackle, plans on being at the Big Ten school for an official visit.
"Yeah, I'll be there," Simmons confirmed on Wednesday evening. "They've been calling me like once a week whenever they can.
"I like Iowa's defensive line. When I watch them play I notice their defensive line. That's what I like about them. That's what caught my eye. I want to meet their defensive line coach and see how he is, because that's going to be my coach for four or five years. You've got to have a good relationship with him."
Simmons' first official visit of the process was to Rutgers at the end of September. His trip to Iowa won't be his last.
"I'm gonna take a visit to Oregon," Simmons said. "I'll take another one after that but I don't know where yet."
McKeesport is 6-1 on the season and will look to improve on that this weekend.
