DT McGill talks UConn, camps

Demetri McGill has a handful of offers and the Virginia defensive tackle is looking for more.
McGill, a 6-foot-2, 297-pound defensive tackle from Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes, already has offers from UConn, East Carolina, JMU, Ohio and Old Dominion, with the first two of those offers listed guaranteeing that he can play FBS ball if he so chooses.
It sure sounds like he's interested in the Big East school that has offered.

"I'm definitely going to take an official visit to UConn," McGill said. "They've offered me and I just want to get up there and check it out. I've never been to Connecticut."
McGill hasn't exactly narrowed things down as he remains entirely open to any other schools that might come along.
"I'm going to go to a few more camps," he noted. "I'll probably go to the North Carolina camp and probably Cincinnati."
McGill said he believes Marshall is close to offering. An assistant from the Thundering Herd's staff stopped by Ocean Lakes and said they like his film.
McGill plans to take all five of his official visits in the fall so he won't be making a decision anytime soon.
