DT Martin is a done deal
Mesquite, Texas, defensive tackle Marco Martin is a "done deal" after making his commitment this morning. So whom did he commit to?
"He committed to Texas this morning," said Mesquite coach Steve Halpin. "He called me last night and said he was tired of stringing everybody along and that deep down in his heart he knew it was Texas.

"So he came in today and made the call. It's a done deal. He's a Longhorn."
Martin's commitment comes on the heels of another big-time defensive tackle commitment for Texas - Rod Wright - and it could give the Horns a shot at finishing with the top class in the nation and the nation's best defensive line class.
"He always knew that Texas was the right place for him," Halpin said. "He loved his visits to the other schools (Texas A&M and Tennessee) but Texas is where his heart was at."
