DT liked Buckeye visit

Among the many recruits at the Ohio State against Michigan was Jaleel Fields. The defensive tackle from Aliquippa (Pa.) really enjoyed his time in Columbus and in generating a lot of interest.
"I was excited," said the 6-foot-2, 275-pound Fields. "It was a nice campus and it's a nice school. I would like to visit again some time this summer. Coach Mike Vrabel and Coach Fickell are still evaluating so they will let me know about an offer."

Fields has been in contact with many schools, including Michigan, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Maryland and N.C. State.
"Michigan State, Ohio State, N.C. State, Maryland and Virginia have been recruiting me the hardest," he explained. "They're good teams and I hear the coaching staff at each school is pretty good. Virginia and Pitt came to out practice to watch. West Virginia sends me a lot of mail and I like that school too.
"Pitt is a good, strong team," Fields said. "Obviously, a lot of people from Aliquippa went there so they know about us. I like it, I went to a couple Pitt games this year.
"I talk to Coach Mark Staten from Michigan State a lot," he said. "He's always in my ear telling me they're interested in me and that I should come up for a visit."
What does Fields think his first offer will come from?
"I haven't sent out a lot of film right now because we're still playing," he said. "I'm waiting until after the season to do that. Right now, I think Pitt will be the first to offer, probably because it's close to home."
Aliquippa plays Karns City (Pa.) on November 30th at Central Valley High School in the PIAA Class AA State Championship Quarterfinals.
