DT Kilgo lands ACC offer
Matthews (N.C.) Weddington defensive tackle Darius Kilgo pulled his second offer this past weekend. The 6-foot-4, 313-pounder landed his first offer from the ACC, from out-of-state.
"Maryland offered me yesterday," he said. "I'm glad to have another offer and I like the school. I'd like to go up there and see the campus and everything.

"I just talked to my recruiter and he told me when they are having spring practices and he wants me to come up a couple times to check it out. He said they need bigger guys my size."
Does anything else stick out about Kilgo?
"I have to say it's just their players," he said. "They are explosive and physical especially on defense."
Kilgo holds one other offer from Illinois at this time.
The Carolina prospect expects to take a few visits in the coming weeks.
"I might go to North Carolina this weekend for their junior day," he said. "Then I'm trying to go to Auburn on March 7th and I may go to Clemson in March sometime too."
