DT hopes for local offer

Kenneth Bishop is a defensive tackle prospect from South Florida. Bishop, 6-1.5 and 300 pounds, is from Sunrise (Fla.) Piper High School. Last season he recorded 30 tackles and 10 sacks.
"I had a good spring," Bishop said. "I worked on my speed and agility. I want to get quicker off the ball."

Bishop doesn't have any scholarship offers at this time but he's hoping the Hurricanes step up to the plate. He also likes Central Florida, N.C. State, Illinois, Kentucky, Florida International, Florida Atlantic and others.
"Miami has a rich history and tradition. They have good academics and it's close to home. Miami would be my first choice, especially with them being close to home.
"I also really like Central Florida. They are up and coming. They are going to be good in the future. I would love to be a part of that if given the opportunity.
"I really want to pick a school where I feel comfortable with the coaches. Playing time is important too. I would also like to be close to my family and I really don't want to go too far away."
Bishop also plays offensive guard.
