DT Has Three Visits Set

Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland defensive tackle Ramon McCollough has set up some official school visits this winter.
“I was supposed to go to Virginia last week,” said the giant 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle, “But I had to reschedule that for Jan. 25.”

He had already set up official visits Clemson on Jan. 18 and recently has scheduled an official visit with South Florida for Jan. 11. Will he still schedule more visits?
“Yes, I still plan to use all five visits,” said McCollough, “I am still really interested in scheduling a visit with Alabama and I plan to visit Michigan State sometime in February. I'm not sure if I'll see both of them though.”
McCollough is still unsure of where the fifth official visit will be. He is still receiving calls from Florida, Iowa, Kansas, and Virginia Tech. He states that he is wide open and that he has no leader. Is playing time during his freshman year still an important factor?
“I obviously want to start right away,” said Ramon, “But I have no problem redshirting for a year as well.”
McCullough is being recruited solely as a defensive tackle.
