Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin defensive tackle Chris Anderson wants to see South Carolina this weekend before making his decision.
"I think they're the only team that could convince me not to go to Florida State," said the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder. "I have Michigan for Jan. 18, but I don't know if I'll need it. That's pretty far away."
Anderson has visited Miami, Southern Cal, Florida State and will take his trip to South Carolina this weekend. So how big is the 'Noles lead?
"I like them alot," he said. "They need defensive linemen and I could play early. I'm considering South Carolina because it's a good school and Lou Holtz is a great coach. But it will take a good visit to change things I think."
