DT gets first offer

One position you can never have a enough talent at is the defensive tackles spot. One to keep your eye this fall is Tim High (6-2, 301, 5.2) from Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne. High has recently received his first offer.
High earned all-city, all-area and all-league honors for his performance is 2004 after accounting for 62 tackles. 20 tackles for loss and two sacks.

USC, Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington, Ole Miss and UNLV have been sending letter this summer to keep in contact with him.
UNLV is ahead of the recruiting curve on this one as the Rebels are the first school to offer High a scholie. UNLV has also asked High to officially visit the Las Vegas campus.
The youngster has been working hard getting himself ready for his senior season. He has improved his bench press from 315 to 345 and his squat from 495 to 525.
High is also an outstanding offensive lineman and schools are looking at him as an offensive player as well.
What is High looking for in a college?
"I'm looking to get a great education," High said. "I wan to get my college degree."
"I would like to play for a school that has a solid program and play for a coaching staff that knows how to develop players," High said. "I would like to have chance to play in the league if everything works out."
"I would also like to play early in my college career as a true freshman if the coaches think I'm ready," High said. "But if I have to red shirt that won't be a problem."
"I would just work real hard to move up the depth chart."
High was recently named to the pre-season all-city section team for the season of 2005.
