DT enjoyed Syracuse spring game

Julian Campenni spoke with Rivals.com about a month ago and mentioned that the Syracuse coaching staff was taking a close look at him.
The mutual interest between Campenni and the 'Cuse appears to be at an all-time high. Earlier in the year the 6-foot, 260-pound defensive tackle from Exeter (Pa.) Wyoming Area attended a junior day at the Big East school, and that experience was a good one. Campenni thoroughly enjoyed himself at the Orange's spring game last week as well.

"I was up at Syracuse for their spring game last week and I really enjoyed it," Campenni said. "We got to go on the field during the game to watch how coach (Jimmy) Brumbaugh does things and what types of drills they do. It was a really neat experience.
"I'm going up to their camp in June. They said that's when they'll decide whether they'll offer me or not."
In addition to Syracuse, Campenni said he has been speaking to Cincinnati, Central Florida, Bowling Green, Temple and NC State.
He already has a very busy summer schedule lined up, as he will be camping at Cincinnati, Boston College, NC State, Bowling Green, Syracuse, Virginia and Temple.
Does he have a favorite?
"No, I haven't got a favorite yet," he replied. "When I go up to see all the schools I'll see which one I like the best."
Kent State is still the only school to offer Campenni thus far.
