DT doesnt have recruiting on mind

Union, S.C. defensive tackle Mickey Rice has some solid scholarship offers sitting on the table right now. But they're offers that he doesn't plan on jumping on soon.

"Recruiting is really in the back in my mind," Rice, who is 6-foot-2 and 280 pounds, said.
"This season is my No. 1 priority right now. We have to get to state and win it all. That's what I'm thinking about. But recruiting is still in the back of my mind."
And with some nice offers from South Carolina, Clemson, Michigan State and Tennessee, why wouldn't it be. Rice said if he had to take visits today, he'd take trips to South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, Michigan State and Georgia with Tennessee also on the fringe.
"I'm not leaning really one way or the other," Rice said. "I can't do that now when it's time for the season."
Union opens up next week against rival Spartanburg.
