DT Clark holds three offers

Washington (D.C.) Ballou defensive tackle Lamonte Clark is sitting on three scholarships at this time. Does anyone stick out to the 6-foot-4, 305-pounder early in the race?
"I've got three offers from Illinois, Kansas State and New Mexico," he said. "They are three good offers, but I can only go to one school. I haven't taken visits yet to any of them.

"I think in about two weeks I'm going to North Carolina."
Clark claims a few schools stick out early in the process.
"My favorite teams are North Carolina, Penn State and Florida," he said. "Those have really just been my favorites for a long time. I am hearing from Penn State and North Carolina. They are in touch.
"I know Navorro Bowman at Penn State and I'm friends with Marvin Austin at North Carolina."
With offers in and growing, what does Clark want in a college?
"Playing time and the type of defense they run and who their defensive coach is," he said. "I'm going to look at the history of the school and the majors. I haven't really thought about what I want to major in."
The D.C. lineman is coming off a solid season in which he posted 42 tackles, three sacks and one forced fumble on his way to all-conference honors.
