DT Clark discusses the latest

Defensive tackle Lamonte Clark out of Washington (D.C.) Ballou claims a handful of scholarships. With May heating up, what's the latest for the 6-foot-4, 308-pounder?
"I still have the same three offers from New Mexico, Kansas State and Illinois," he said. "I'm hearing a lot from Michigan State. They're talking about the fact they may offer in the next week.

"I'm also hearing a lot from North Carolina, Syracuse and Maryland also. They all tell me that they like my film a lot."
Clark took just one unofficial visit in recent weeks.
"I went to a junior day at North Carolina the week before their spring game," he said. "I liked it a lot. I had a long conversation with Coach Blake. He was telling me that he wanted me to come back in June for a week for camp. If I do good I should get an offer. They couldn't offer based on my film because they didn't know which position I'd be better for. I do plan to go up for that camp."
Clark claims he has no other camps scheduled at this time.
Do any schools lead for the lineman?
"I like Michigan State, North Carolina, New Mexico, Kansas State and anyone else interested in me," he said. "Those are specific because they are showing me a lot of interest right now."
Clark posted 42 tackles and three sacks as a junior last season.
