DT Brown down to four

Defensive tackle Garrett Brown out of Fairfield (Conn.) Fairfield Prep is planning to head back to Maryland next month. Which game is the 6-foot-2, 286-pounder looking at attending and is he considering an official with the Terps?
"I liked my visit in September a lot and the atmosphere was great. I'm planning to head back there for the November 19th Boston College game," he said. "I'm planning to also take an official visit sometime in early December too. I hope to be scheduling that and others in the next couple weeks.

"I like Maryland because I'm close with the coaches. I like coach Sollazzo and Friedgen since they keep up with me. I like that the fans are behind their team and I think I fit the program. They run a 3-4 and 4-3 and it's the perfect scheme for me. This upcoming visit I hope to meet more players and interact with them."
The three-star prospect is looking at scheduling officials with Minnesota, Michigan State and Ole Miss as well.
"Michigan State has been with me since my sophomore year and they have a great program and school. I fit in well there too," he said. "I like the staff at Ole Miss, especially coach DeLeone since he went to my high school. Finally, Minnesota is just a great school and program. I think I'm pretty set on these schools and I don't think I necessarily need to take a fifth official."
Brown and Fairfield Prep have struggled this season to a 0-4-1 record, but he hopes they can turn it around.
"Hopefully we can end up being .500 at the end of the year," he said. "We've got a big game this week against 4-0 Xavier and hopefully we can be the spoiler and mess up their chances. We already know we can't make the playoffs and Xavier was the only team we lost to on our perfect season a couple years ago, so we owe them.
