Wheaton (Ill.) South junior defensive tackle prospect Chris Arthurs (6-foot-1, 265 pounds) no question impressed many observers at last weekend's Michigan Nike Camp with his all around performance.
"I really enjoyed the Nike Camp," Arthurs said. "I thought that I performed pretty well in all phases, and I really just enjoyed the one on one drills. It was a great place to show your skills with so many college coaches in attendance."
Arthurs has been drawing plenty of early recruiting attention this spring.
"So far I have received phone calls from Toledo, Illinois, Boston College and Ball State. We have also had a ton of coaches in school so far in May. Illinois, Toledo, Bowling Green, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Western Michigan, Western Illinois, Illinois State, Akron, Purdue and several Ivy League schools have all made in school visits."
Arthurs is starting to set his summer camp plans.
"I'm heading to the Illinois and Northwestern camps this summer with my team. I'm also looking at several one-day camps like Notre Dame, Ball State, Western Michigan and Purdue."
