Driver ready to wrap it all up

Houston Lamar receiver Quincy Driver has one obstacle to clear before wrapping up his college recruitment.
“I am taking my SAT this Saturday,” he said. “I’m still committed to Texas A&M, and I talk with them every week. Coach Fran came in and took over. He went 4-7 to 7-4 and has made a big turnaround. They have an exciting offense with (Reggie) McNeal throwing the ball around.”

Driver caught 30 passes for 505 yards and seven touchdowns while also playing cornerback on defense. Texas A&M is recruiting him as a receiver, and he has the pedigree. He is the nephew of Green Bay Packer Donald Driver, who attended Alcorn State.
“You can get to league from anywhere and he is proof of that,” Driver said.
While he is solid commitment to the Aggies, Driver would like to take some visits.
“I was happy to commit early because it took some pressure off,” he said. “I’m open to taking some more visits to see what’s out there.”
But at this point, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, which is good news for the Aggies.
