UCLA scored huge this weekend with the committal of four star running back Maurice Drew (5-9, 190, 4.4) from Concord (Calif.) De la Salle. Drew came home thought it about talked to his family and then he called UCLA running back coach Eric Bieniemy to give him the good news.
Drew is in the process of calling all the other coaches who were recruiting him to let them know that he will be a Bruin.
“My host was Tyler Ebell and Manuel White,” Drew said. “They were great guys, were real cool and that I got along with them real well.”
“You know the feeling you get when you know something is right,” Drew said. “That’s what I got from visiting UCLA.”
“I gave Cal my word that I would visit them,” Drew said. “If they still want me to them visit I will.”
UCLA wins this very intense recruiting battle offers from Cal, Oregon, Colorado, and USC.
Great get for UCLA and fine way for the new UCLA staff to start their recruiting efforts off down the strectch.
