Drennon thinking about official visits

Three-star defensive end Dajaun Drennon of Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek is creeping up on thirty offers, after receiving his two most recent ones from Missouri and California. Drennon took a recent visit to an ACC school and now will begin to piece together his official visit schedule for the fall and winter.
"This past weekend I took a visit to UNC," said Drennon, who is 6-foot-3 and 234-pounds. "They told me that they are looking for a defensive end who isn't afraid to come in and play during their freshman year."

Drennon has no plans to attend any camps this summer and at this point may also be done with unofficial visits.
"I think I took all of the unofficial visits that I will take," said Drennon. "I'm just going to wait and take officials."
The South Jersey end will spend the next few weeks trying to trim his list of schools down in order to schedule his official visits.
"I should do that around the end of July or the beginning of August," said Drennon. "I will have definite dates and destinations then. The schools I visit will be my top five."
While his list of official visits is far from solid at this point, Drennon did share that three schools are in a good position to receive one.
"Notre Dame, North Carolina and Kentucky," said Drennon, who also listed these three schools as the ones currently showing him the most interest, along with Missouri and California.
In the meantime, Drennon has begun working out with his team once again in preparation for his senior season.
"We just had our first practice today (Tuesday)," said Drennon. "I gained almost 15 pounds and I still feel my natural speed. Since my junior season ended I've wanted to improve the use of my hands and also staying low out of my stance."
