Dray prepares for upcoming visits

Tight end/inside linebacker James Dray is one of the few prospects that remains nearly completely wide open this late in the recruiting process. That should change after a few upcoming official visits.
"I'm really not close to making a decision at this point in time," said Dray. "I'm still looking at Boston College, Stanford, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Iowa and Florida State, so there are a lot of options out there. With so many good schools and programs interested in me it's been really hard to narrow things down."

Dray has already taken an official visit to Boston College, and he has at least two coming up later in January.
"I'm probably going somewhere on Jan. 21, but I'm not sure exactly where," said the 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect from Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic. "This weekend, Jan. 8, I'll be at Stanford. I wouldn't normally get a chance to see the school, so I feel fortunate to be able to get out there. And then on Jan. 28 I'll take an official visit to Notre Dame."
Dray recently met with New England Patriot's offensive coordinator and Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis. What impression did he come away with?
"I just got a really good feeling after I met with him a couple of days ago. He's very confident about what he's going to do there. He has a great resume. I mean, probably the most successful offensive coordinator in the NFL recently. That alone gets you excited."
Dray is ranked the No. 12 tight end in the nation and the No. 8 overall prospect in the Garden State.
