Doxey set for final visit

There has been a change of plans for San Diego (Calif.) Hoover defensive back Todd Doxey. The talented safety will still take his final official visit this coming weekend but the school he's planning to visit has changed.
Doxey, 6-2, 170 pounds has had Oregon at the top of his list ever since his official visit back in mid-October. The athlete even contemplated committing shortly after the visit but said he wanted to take one more visit to have something to compare the Ducks with.

Doxey was planning to visit Fresno State but will now head back to the Northwest for his second and last official trip.
"I'm going to Washington State instead of Fresno State," Doxey said. "Things just kind of fell through with Fresno State and Washington State has been recruiting me all along so I decided to visit there this weekend.
"Washington State is a good program and puts a lot of defensive backs in to the league (NFL) so I'm going to take this visit and then make my decision. That was my plan all along, just take one more trip and then decide. Oregon is still way up there but I'm going to give Washington State a fair shot and then make my decision a week or so after I get back."
