Down To Two For WR

A decision could be coming soon by star wideout Byron Williams from Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound sure-handed receiver now has a clear-cut top two and will be visiting both schools in September. Byron will make the one and half hour drive to Rutgers for the Scarlet Knights home opener and then will he fly out to Iowa for the Iowa-Iowa State game on Sept 14.
“I would really like to have my decision made by the end of September. My top two schools are Rutgers and Iowa, but I also might want to check out a few others. This is such a big decision that I want to make sure I cover all my options.”

Byron also has offers from Temple, West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Vanderbilt.
“I like all of the schools that have offered, but Rutgers and Iowa just stand out. I was up at Rutgers a few weeks back and enjoyed it. Every time I go there I feel very comfortable.”
As a junior, Williams had 35 receptions for 800 yards and eight touchdowns. He was named all-state parochial second team and all-conference.
