Down to 1 Big 12 school plus one
Newton, Texas Kenyon Scott, who is the 6-foot-3, 285 pound defensive tackle/tight end for Newton High School in Newton, names his favorites, but he plans on taking one more visit.
"My favorites are Texas Tech and Houston," Scott said, "but I'm also considering Louisiana -Lafayette, that I'm visiting on January 25th."

"I visited Texas Tech on December 14th and I was surprised that I liked the city of Lubbock. It was bigger than I thought it was. Also, I liked the coaches."
"I just got back from Houston and I liked the tradition at Houston and it is close to home, which is also nice."
"I will make my decision in two weeks. Houston is closer to home, but Texas Tech is in the Big 12 Conference."
